Today on Booze On The Rocks we show you how to make the BOMB POP cocktail. This Bomb Pop cocktail is a variation of the shooter that is in itself based on the tri-coloured Popsicle.


This red, white, and blue cocktail is perfect for celebrating independence day, the 4th of July. It is also a great party trick cocktail. Getting the layers to work can be tricky but rewarding when you get it right.


The Bomb Pop cocktail has flavors of coconut, pomegranate, and rum layered in a sweet package. Try it out and let me know what you think.


Red layer:

• 30 ml Grenadine (1 oz)


White layer:

• 15 ml White Rum (0.5 oz)

• 15 ml Coconut Cream (0.5 oz)


Blue layer:

• 15 ml Blue Curacao (0.5 ozl)

• 60 ml Coconut Rum (2 oz)


Preparation Layers:

- Add the blue curacao and coconut rum into a glass and stir thoughtfully.

- In a second glass add the white rum and coconut cream toghether and stir that as well.

- Pour the grenadine into the bottom of a highball glass.

- Fill the highball glass with crushed ice.

- Slowly pour the rum and crean of coconut mixture on top of the crushed ice.

- After that settles pour the blue curacao and coconut rum mixture onto the crushed ice to fill the glass.


Cream of Coconut:

• 400 ml Coconut Milk

• 375 gr Sugar (12.5 oz)

• 1 Pinch of Salt


Preparation Cream:

- Add all ingredients to a sauce pan on the stove top.

- Warm on low heat while stirring until it reaches a semi translucent consisyency.

- Refrigerate and enjoy.
