The Alabama Slammer, also know as the Southern Slammer, is an easy to drink and interesting mix of Southern Comfort, Amaretto and Sloe Gin with orange juice. Speculation is that it was made at the University of Alabama back in 1975.
Alabama Slammer
Ingredients:
• 30 ml Southern Comfort (1 oz)
• 30 ml Amaretto Liqueur (1 oz)
• 30 ml Sloe Gin (1 oz)
• 60 ml Orange Juice (2 oz)
Preparation:
1. Add all the ingredients to your cocktail shaker.
2. Shake and strain over fresh ice into a high ball.
3. Garnish with an orange wheel and cherry.
