The Mr Beast Content "Gold Rush" could have serious ramifications for the platform as the golden child of YouTube is bombarded by ever worsening scandals with inadequate response.
While some creators (myself included) squabble over minor issues and opinions, the entire platform is now risking the availability of advertising as the creator once viewed as the pinnacle of the ecosystem is mired in controversy.
Its hard to differentiate how far is too far as a seemingly never ending parade of youtubers (again, myself included) cover the situation repeatedly with extremely high relative viewership. Good or bad... that's up to the viewers.
Also... its a little annoying when possibly the largest legal channel on all of YouTube, clips me out of context, and then calls me wrong when the NEXT SENTENCE after the clip they chose says the very thing they called me wrong for not knowing.
