The Great Sphinx of Egypt in the First Dynasty

In a video I made back in June 2018, I claimed that the earliest depiction of the Sphinx in history is on the famous Narmer Palette, an idea that I came to when trying to understand the iconography on the famous piece of early Egyptian art.

Now, a few months later I present what I believe are more 1st dynasty ancient Egyptian representations of The Sphinx in artwork, and also one possible new identity for the statue - the Lower Egyptian goddess, Neith. Watch the video to learn more.
