Global Covid-19 Death Toll hits 4 Million

More than 18 months since the coronavirus was first reported in China, the World Health Organization (WHO) announced on July 7, 2021, that the global death toll from Covid-19 passed the “tragic milestone” of 4 million.

WHO Director General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus warned the world has reached a “perilous point” in the pandemic.
