Why They Built Hidden Tunnels at Sacsayhuaman

In my last video I discussed the latest archaeological news coming out of Cusco in Peru, that a branching tunnel system has been confirmed using geophysics, running from the hilltop site of Sacsayhuaman, all the way to the heart of historic Cusco.

For many of us who have researched this part of the world, the tunnel system wasn’t a great surprise, and that’s because there are numerous eyewitness accounts written over the past few centuries.

The accounts were looked at as fictional by some, so the fact the tunnels are now confirmed is a major breakthrough and I personally can’t wait till we can see inside. Because nearly 4 years ago I made a series of videos on Sacsayhuaman, where I mentioned the legends of the tunnel system and I also put forward my own hypothesis as to what their primary use was – the real reason why they were built.

Well, after taking a closer look at the data released by archaeologists in Peru, I believe I was right afterall, and in this video I'll revealed Why the Inca built these tunnels, and how they were used.
