U.S. Launch Huge Air Strikes on Houthis Rebels in Yemen

Footage shows the U.S. carrying out a "decisive and powerful" wave of air strikes on Houthi rebels in Yemen on 15 March 2025.

Writing on social media, President Donald Trump accused the Houthis of being funded by Iran and said they had launched missiles at US aircraft while targeting American troops and allies.

He described their actions as "piracy, violence, and terrorism" in the Red Sea that had cost "billions" and put lives in danger. The Houthi-run health ministry said at least 31 people had been killed and 101 others injured in the strikes. The group later said it would continue targeting vessels in the Red Sea until Israel lifted its blockade of Gaza and vowed to respond to the US strikes.
