I got to play with one of these a few months back. This thing is sick! 96/24 on a 64bit system!!!
I think this may be a SD7 killer. Plus it put basically all of their Duende Plug-Ins (and then some) in the FX rack, which has its own DSP. They were smart to use slider controls instead of visually accurate representations of the effects…faster and not needed.
The only thing is the learning curve.
There's so many ways to operate the console, one could get a brain freeze trying to remember all of them early on. I gravitated towards the Channel Tile.
The level of customization, control and metering (you can meter and name the XLR inputs separately from the digital channels) is on Death Star levels!
