On October 4, 2005, 19-year-old Samy Kamkar wanted to pull a practical joke on his new MySpace page to get a laugh out of his friends. Unbeknownst to him, he accidentally created a computer virus (JS.Spacehero), and in less than 24 hours, over one million users on MySpace would be infected with it.
