NASA’s Mars 2020 mission, the rover Perseverance and the Ingenuity helicopter, landed on Mars, in the Jezero crater, on 18 February 2021, at approximately 20:55 UTC (15:55 EST). Perseverance will be seeking for signs of habitable conditions and microbial life in the ancient past on Mars.
