Today, we're going to be creating a logo and package design for Sploosh from Holes!
The Process
I'll be using Procreate and Photoshop CC to create the logo and package design. We'll design everything from scratch, including: choosing fonts, picking color schemes, and coming up with logo design concepts and creating custom illustrations.Logo Design
We'll start with the logo and overall branding. This will include doing some style exploration to match the movies western vibes until our logo's layout is compact, legible, and effective.Packaging Design - We'll start with a glass bottle mockup and come up with a simple design that continues to match the aesthetic of the movie.
We'll paint a custom label and layout all the information in a way that creates good hierarchy and visual interest.Presentation - We'll wrap up the video by creating a background matching the scene where Sploosh was discovered. This will include a lot of digital painting, photo editing, composition design, and some post processing and color grading.
