This was filmed at the Queen’s Theatre in Southsea, Portsmouth. Most of the “audience” were students at Portsmouth Polytechnic. Two friends and I were on the front row of the balcony. It took three days altogether to complete this section of the film.
The Student’s Union was a hub for recruiting extras for the film, and the bar saw a lot of action that term, as extras received a small cash payment for days filmed! I probably did about twenty days’ filming altogether, in many different settings all over Portsmouth. It all culminated in a WHO concert, free to all extras, performed at Portsmouth Guildhall.
Best concert of my life!
