Dance Reaction was a Dutch disco group from The Hague in the early eighties and consisted of four members: Glenn van der Hoff, his sisters Marlinda and Bridy, and Jeffrey Toorop.

The group became best known in 1982 with the disco song Disco Train, which was in the Top 40 for eight weeks in early 1982 with the highest place in February number 6.

In the song, written by composer Andy Free and lyricist Jean, train sounds such as steam whistles were added to the music.

Produced in Canada by Frank Sauter, the song features samples from Dan Hartman's Vertigo / Relight My Fire.

The B-side of the single contained the song Train Sound. Other songs included Metro Area, Shanks Mare Honey, and Honey Puppy is my Name.

The group did not exist for long. The members founded jazz dance company Djazzex in September 1982, for which they saw Dance Reaction as a (financial) stepping stone.
