Apple II | Visicalc 1.3 (1979)

I am trying out Visicalc on the Apple II.

Without a doubt, this program was revolutionary for 1979, basically making home computers useful for anyone.

BASIC was a good thing, it was capable of fairly complicated calculations, but putting together anything more complicated was a very time consuming process. With Visicalc it was trivial to move computations to the computer and to put together a display that made sense to anyone.

In the video I have some trouble with the file IO, and after that, while playing with the commands I erase my work accidentally. The 40 column display is more painful to use compared to the MS DOS version.
