7 Confirmed False Flag Attacks

By definition a false flag incident is a covert action taken by a country or agency which is designed to appear as if someone else performed it, and these acts are often used to give pretext for political or military action.

Between 15th and 19th of August 1953 the Iranian Prime Minister Mohammad Mosaddegh was overthrown from government, and his downfall had long been desired by the governments of the UK and the USA. But before deposing Iran's most senior Minister, first he had to be discredited.

Historians still aren't 100% sure if the Reichstag fire was a false flag attack, but we do know of many Nazi actions which were, several of which took place on the 31st of August 1939.

The 2001 Anthrax terror attacks occurred one week after 9/11, making them the most unnecessary sequel since Paul Blart Mall Cop 2. The first movie tied off everything I needed to know about the Paul Blart universe, and now you've gone and ruined it. Thanks Hollywood.

In 2008 two minibuses driving on the border between Georgia and Abkhazia were carrying Georgian citizens looking to vote in parliamentary and presidential elections, when their vehicles were attacked by assailants wielding automatic weapons and grenades.

Sadly terror attacks in French cities are nothing new, but the incidents we're referring to in this entry actually date back to the 1970s and 80s. During this time three terror bombings took place in Paris, Nice and Cannes where thirty people were injured and one killed. Initially blame was placed on an extremist Zionist group called the Masada Action and Defense Movement, after anti-Islam leaflets bearing the Star of David were found at the scene.

Only one year after the USA and UK's Operation Ajax, Israel decided it wanted a piece of the delicious false flag pie, and framed the Muslim Brotherhood and Egyptian Communists as having been responsible for a series of bombs planted across locations in Egypt. These locations included cinemas, libraries and an American diplomatic facility, but thankfully none of these bombs managed to kill or injure anyone. Phew. Case closed…or perhaps not.

The Vietnam War took place between 1955 and 1975, but the Gulf of Tonkin incident occurred in 1964. So why would you need to orchestrate a false flag operation when you've already got the agonising conflict you so desperately wanted Mr President?

For the sheer numbers involved we had to include the Krubera Cave on this list, as while the others may look all pretty and spooky, the Krubera takes the honour of being the deepest known cave on Earth.
