A team of archaeologists working on Las Animas Hill in the lush dry desert of La Otra Banda in Northern Peru have discovered two ceremonial structures, one of which dates back to the Moche Culture, between 600 and 700 AD, and the other from the Initial Period, which dates to an ancient 3,500 BC..
